Over de functie
In the role of a machine welder, you will create weld joints using (semi)automatic welding machines that comply with the relevant welding procedure specification (WPS). Due to the specific machines, you will be trained by the company. You ensure that the welding machine remains in good condition by performing minor preventive maintenance tasks and ensure a smooth handover to the next shift. Keeping the workplace clean and organized is part of the job. You will work in a team with employees of various nationalities, so it is important that you speak good Dutch, German, and/or English. As a machine welder, you will work in a 3-shift system.
Here's a brief overview of your role as a machine welder:
- Creating weld joints using (semi)automatic welding machines according to welding procedure specifications (WPS).
- Performing minor preventive maintenance tasks on the welding machines.
- Ensuring a smooth handover to the next shift.
- Keeping the workplace clean and organized.

Wat wij vragen
- Experience with operating a welding machine/robot and/or experience with manual welding.
- Possess a VMBO/MBO level of working and thinking, and have an affinity with technology.
- In possession of a VCA certificate (for safety) or willing to obtain it.
- Knowledge of and experience with welding techniques.
- Preferably knowledge of and experience with relevant transport equipment, such as an overhead crane.
- Knowledge of and/or experience with metalworking.

- An attractive salary depending on your work experience and education, ranging from €19.66 to €24.20 gross per hour, including an average 21% shift allowance for working in a 3-shift system.
- Travel allowance of €0.23 net per kilometer.
